The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory of bulk finished goods and packaging materials.  This role involves coordinating with various departments to monitor inventory levels and performs inventory audits. The Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in preventing shortages, optimizing inventory accuracy to ensure the availability of products and materials.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory accuracy at production site including finished goods, labels and packaging materials. 
  • Maintain our packaging material warehouse in an organized manner ensuring that all similar materials are grouped together consolidating partial pallets as needed.
  • Coordinate regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory needs between 2 locations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems). Ensure that all incoming materials received or moved are properly placed in the correct location and updated in ERP System (E21)..
  • Report stock issues, shortages, and discrepancies to management.
  • Other duties and  responsibilities as required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, or related field (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., E21) or similar systems.
  • Forklift certified.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with warehouse staff, and other departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data analysis.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials when necessary.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse environments.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position: hours  may vary depending on workload and project deadlines.
  • Primarily in warehouse with occasional office work.

  • Inventory accuracy/inventory write off value.
  • Production schedule attainment
  • On-time-in-full service
  • Forklift safety compliance.
