We are seeking a full-time skilled, windows-focused Systems Administrator to join our team and support our Public Safety IT Systems. The Pepperell Regional Emergency Communications Center (PRECC) is dedicated to providing exceptional emergency communication services to the Towns of Ashby, Dunstable, Groton, Pepperell and Townsend.
The PRECC Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure with the PRECC and Town of Pepperell. This role includes ensuring the uptime, performance, and security of all systems as well as providing technical support to end users.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related with 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience to include information management services and network administration, preferable in a municipal environment; or a combination of equivalent education and experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Windows operating systems, attention to detail, strong knowledge of network protocols, server management and cybersecurity best practices along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team and have a valid driver’s license. Consideration will be given to applicants with related education and solid experience.
Hiring range $69,676 - $77,652 depending on qualifications. Generous benefits include three weeks of vacation, 11.5 holidays, and health insurance.
