The Pepperell Department of Public Works – Highway Division seeks a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer I to perform the operation and maintenance of the Town’s transportation and buildings & grounds infrastructure. Duties include operation of vehicles, machinery, tools and equipment for the installation, repair and clearing of the Town’s roads, grounds and buildings. This position is part of the Highway Division on-call duty rotation schedule and is required to conduct winter road maintenance activities.
Qualifications and experience:
- Massachusetts, Class B CDL and Hoisting/Hydraulics license Class 2B.
- Full range: $24.55 - $29.67/hour DOQ, plus OT & on-call pay. Excellent benefits package.
