Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background with over 10 years of experience in IT, specializing in cloud technologies and having exposure to security, networking, firewalls, Windows operating systems, and MDR/XDR antivirus solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies and the ability to contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Catania Oils' cloud infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft technologies and potential expansion to AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement security measures to safeguard cloud environments.
- Maintain Hybrid Cloud environment between Azure and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Manage and optimize networking configurations for performance, reliability, and security.
- Oversee and implement firewall solutions to protect the organization's cloud assets.
- Provide expertise in Windows operating systems, ensuring their stability, security, and efficient operation.
- Implement and manage MDR/XDR antivirus solutions to safeguard against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to make informed recommendations.
- Participate in security audits and remediate findings

- Microsoft Entra ID
- Intune
- Firewalls
- Virtual Network Gateways
- Enterprise Applications and SSO
- Storage
- Virtual Machines
- Conditional Access
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT with a focus on cloud engineering.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies and a willingness to explore and adopt AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices, networking protocols, and firewall configurations.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with MDS/XDR antivirus solutions and the ability to implement effective cybersecurity measures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
