Job Description
The ideal candidate will hold at least an associate’s degree and have experience working with students with disabilities, along with a strong understanding of Special Education laws and intellectual impairments. Strong skills in fractions, decimals, ruler reading, and precision measurement are preferred.

Job Requirements
- Responsibilities:
•Support students with disabilities in a CNC machining shop setting by tutoring, assisting with hands-on machining assignments, and ensuring proper implementation of accommodations.
•Provide classroom and lab assistance to help students understand course material, reinforce key CNC concepts such as blueprint reading, fractions/decimals, and precision measurement, and prepare for industry certification exams.
•Collaborate with CNC instructors to reinforce lessons, adapt instructional materials, and integrate assistive technology or specialized machining equipment as needed.
•Promote and maintain a safe, organized machine shop environment, ensuring students follow all OSHA safety standards and proper machine operation procedures.
•Work closely with instructors and the Continuing Education Team to develop job-readiness and life-skills plans that prepare students for employment in the manufacturing and CNC machining fields after graduation.
•Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while fostering student growth, independence, and successful transition from school to career. - At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
