Job Description

The Ayer Shirley Regional School District seeks a dynamic Art Teacher beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. This is a .7 FTE.

 
  • Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards and MA frameworks
  • Communicate effectively, consistently, and professionally with all students, families, and colleagues
  • Provide support, accommodations, and attention to all students
  • Participate in curriculum and professional development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions
  • Ensure students are engaged and invested in the classroom, managing behavior, and providing incentives
  • Comply with school, district, and statewide policies and regulations
  • Be accountable for students’ mastery of academic standards
  • Complete other duties as assigned
 
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,430 to $110,948 Per Year

Job Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree is required at a minimum
  • A valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Visual Arts, PreK-8 required
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
