Job Title: Creative Director
Our company is a leading creative workshop specializing in fabrication, performance, character IP, content creation, production, licensing, and branding. We fuse artistry with cutting-edge technology to craft captivating experiences for each of our clients. We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our team and drive the development of innovative projects. This role requires a blend of creative expertise, technical proficiency, and client relationship management.
Position Overview: As the Creative Director you will spearhead the conceptualization and execution of projects, ensuring they exceed client expectations and align with our creative vision. In addition to leading the creative team, you will utilize company software for client follow-up and project management, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow. Your technical acumen, combined with your creative prowess, will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Creative Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and creative leadership to the design team.
- Conceptualize and develop innovative ideas for clients and characters.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize technical knowledge to guide the fabrication and assembly of puppets and costume components.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure the seamless integration of animatronic systems.
Client Relationship Management:
- Engage with clients to understand their vision and project requirements.
- Utilize company software for client follow-up, ensuring timely communication and addressing any concerns or feedback.
Project Management:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to installation and delivery.
- Utilize project management software to track progress, allocate resources, and manage timelines.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to address any technical issues.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the creative team.
- Work closely with other departments, such as fabrication and production, to ensure seamless project execution.
Industry Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in animatronics and themed entertainment.
- Incorporate new techniques and technologies into project development to maintain our competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar leadership role within the animatronics or themed entertainment industry.
- Technical expertise in animatronic design, fabrication, and integration.
- Proficiency in project management software for tracking progress and managing timelines.
- Versed in 3D design process, including but not limited to: Solidworks CAD, Maya, Zbrush, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Rhino, Fusion360, etc.
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
- Creative vision and the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative ideas.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Animation, Industrial Design, Engineering).
