RFK Community Alliance has an opportunity for a fulltime Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Lancaster! We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform a wide variety of duties to keep campus facilities safe and in good working order.
 
Who We Seek:
We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department to perform essential upkeep duties to support our Lancaster campus. In this position you will be responsible for a wide variety of repairs and maintenance activities to ensure our facility is functional and presentable. The ideal candidate will have significant maintenance work experience and solid technical knowledge in one or more related areas.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, and standards in a safe manner with minimal supervision.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Maintain grounds including lawn mowing, trimming, and edging, and general campus upkeep.
  • Complete regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
  • Assist with snow removal.
  • Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovation projects.
  • Assist with moving, loading, unloading, and storing supplies, furniture, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively in a professional, tactful, and courteous manner with students, staff, and the general public.
 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a maintenance worker or similar position.
  • Experience working with landscaping equipment and proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm
