Public Policy Committee Meeting - Campaign for a Safe and Healthy Massachusetts

Our next Public Policy meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 13th , not the first Tuesday of the month due to Labor Day. 
 
Representatives from the Campaign for a Safe and Healthy Massachusetts will discuss the ballot initiative to legalize marijuana. This measure would allow for those age 21 and older to purchase marijuana in a variety of forms from buds to edibles and ointments, provide for limited home growth, and potentially allow more widespread public use, among other provisions. 
 
The Campaign for a Safe and Healthy Massachusetts is a coalition of organizations, community and business leaders, and advocates from a variety of industries that oppose the legalization of the commercial marijuana industry and seek to safeguard Bay State communities from the potential dangers of legalized marijuana.
