POSITION TITLE: Assembler (Casegoods)
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Casegoods Manager
DATE: 2026 Updated
FUNCTION
• Completes cabinet assembly to meet AIS specifications and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble cabinets in predetermined sequence and work orders
- Mount hardware and connectors
- Quality inspection of assembled product
- Read and use metric tape measure
- Read and understand part drawings
- Read and understand work orders
- Inspect parts for quality defects
- Able to consistently run at rate
- Lead, train, and direct Pre-Assembler
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work with technical data
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and pay attention to details
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, gripping, stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
