How Do I Comply with the New Mandatory Paid Leave Law
Last November Massachusetts voters approved a first- in-the-nation law requiring that employers offer sick leave to all employees, in some cases paid. We are providing an opportunity to learn how to comply with this new law which takes effect July 1, 2015.
Things you must consider as an employer:
- Do I have to offer paid or unpaid leave?
- What records must I keep to ensure compliance?
- Are all employees eligible for sick leave?
- What best practices should I follow?
