Ayer Awarded $1.3 Million in Grants for Fitchburg Rd Sewer and Park St Reconstruction
AYER, Mass. — The Town of Ayer has been awarded two MassWorks Infrastructure Program grants totaling $1,315,000 through the Community One Stop for Growth, Governor Maura Healey announced on October 1, 2026. A $1,000,000 grant will extend municipal sewer service along Fitchburg Road to Ayer's Light Industrial District. Appointment of Katie Neville as Community Development Program Manager
Ayer, MA – The Town of Ayer is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Neville as the new Community Development Program Manager. Neville began her duties on Monday, April 6. “I’m excited for this opportunity to continue meaningful public service while working strategically and creatively to meet Ayer’s goals around housing, equity, and community wellbeing,” reflected Neville.
