The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to unveil the new logo for our Women in Business initiative — a project made even more meaningful through a collaboration with a student from the Graphic & Interactive Design program at Mount Wachusett Community College. This semester, the Chamber participated in the college’s Service-Learning program, which connects students with real-world projects in the community. Student designer Rachel Faias selected the Women in Business logo project and worked throughout the semester to develop a variety of branding concepts that reflected the mission and energy of the growing initiative. After reviewing Rachel’s creative concepts and designs, the Chamber selected the final logo that will represent the program moving forward.
Working with Rachel on the Women in Business logo project was a wonderful experience. She was professional, creative, responsive, and truly took the time to understand the vision behind the initiative. Rachel brought thoughtful ideas to the table and was able to translate concepts into a polished design that reflected the spirit of the program perfectly. It was a pleasure collaborating with her this semester, and we’re excited to see where her talents take her in the future.
This partnership represents exactly what community collaboration is all about — connecting education, creativity, and local organizations in a way that benefits everyone involved. We are incredibly grateful to the faculty and students at Mount Wachusett Community College for their partnership and enthusiasm throughout this process.
We can’t wait to debut the new logo across future Women in Business events, programming, and initiatives as we continue building opportunities for connection, leadership, and growth for women throughout the region.
