Nashoba Valley Medical Center Unveils New Hospital Sign

Ayer, MA – Nashoba Valley Medical Center unveiled a new hospital sign recently, designed to easily identify the hospital for those in need of care. It replaces the previous sign that weathered and aged. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the members of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrated the installation of the sign at the front of the hospital.

The new sign is eight feet wide, nine feet tall, and weighs approximately 200 pounds. It has a steel structure, vinyl casing, and a stacked stone base which is set in concrete. It took two people one week to set up the new sign once fabrication was completed.

“It’s always exciting to erect a new, eye-catching sign because it is a visual reminder to the community that we are here to serve them, and that we are a strong healthcare organization,” said Korry Dow, president of Nashoba Valley Medical Center. “Now more than ever the 17+ communities we serve need to be reassured that we are a safe place in which to receive care, whether it is emergency care or annual diagnostic tests and imaging. We want everyone to know that Nashoba Valley Medical Center is safe and ready to care for them.
