New Members
LUK, Inc. is celebrating a season of community engagement, youth development, and meaningful partnerships across Central Massachusetts, while looking ahead to several upcoming programs and opportunities for residents to get involved.
Throughout the summer and fall, LUK staff participated in community events including Pride Worcester, National Night Out, the Johnny Appleseed Festival, and local back-to-school celebrations. These events provided opportunities to connect with residents, share resources, and raise awareness of LUK's programs and services.
LUK also continued its commitment to community service, with more than 30 staff members participating in United Way volunteer initiatives. Staff supported trail cleanup efforts at Coolidge Park in Fitchburg through the United Way of North Central Massachusetts' Day of Caring and volunteered at the Community Harvest Project through the United Way of Central Massachusetts' Day of Action.
Supporting Youth and Families

The organization's Mentoring program also participated in the 2026 Rodman Ride for Kids, exceeding its fundraising goal. Funds raised support LUK's efforts to connect young people throughout Central Massachusetts with volunteer mentors.
Additionally, LUK celebrated the graduation of its Urban Youth Collaborative summer cohort. The program provides paid, hands-on experience across multiple LUK programs, helping prepare the next generation of human services professionals.
