Two updates relevant to TPS holders in Massachusetts
First, work authorization for Haiti and Syrian TPS holders remains in place and will continue until the Supreme Court sends a certified copy of its judgment to the lower court and the federal administration issues implementation guidance. The E-Verify system now lists July 24, 2026 as a placeholder date for termination of employment authorization before the Supreme Court decision. Second, the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants has launched a “HelpDesk” to assist current and former TPS holders, and those who previously applied for TPS, with access to immigration counsel. Please see the attached flyers, in multiple languages.
