Aaronap Cellars is celebrating a major achievement after earning multiple awards at the 2026 Big E Wine Competition, including a Gold Medal and the prestigious title of Best Vinifera White Wine for its 2024 Riesling.
The Big E Wine Competition showcases wines produced throughout New England and neighboring states, highlighting the region's best winemaking talent. Aaronap Cellars' 2024 Riesling stood out among the competition, earning top honors in its category.
"We don't enter many wine competitions because we prefer to hear directly from our customers, but the Big E competition is one we truly value because it focuses on regional wines," said Noel Powell, CEO and Winemaker of Aaronap Cellars. "To have our Riesling recognized as the Best Vinifera White Wine is incredibly rewarding and a testament to the quality of Massachusetts-grown grapes and winemaking."
In addition to the Riesling's success, Aaronap Cellars also received:

Crafted from estate-grown grapes at Aaronap Cellars' Coastal Vineyard in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, the award-winning 2024 Riesling features aromas of gooseberry, rhubarb, green apple, and honeysuckle, with a crisp, dry finish that reflects the influence of the region's maritime climate.
Consumers can sample the award-winning wines throughout the summer at farmers markets across Massachusetts, where Aaronap Cellars operates its popular mobile tasting rooms. The winery will also feature the 2024 Riesling during private tasting experiences held at its Westford cellar.
