Aaronap Cellars Brings Back Fan-Favorite Red Wines for Summer While Celebrating Local Agriculture

New Members

Aaronap Cellars is celebrating summer with the return of two customer-favorite red wines, the 2022 Pinotage and 2022 Petite Pearl, now available at local farmers markets throughout the region and by private tasting appointment at the winery.

Perfectly suited for grilling season, the two limited-release wines offer distinctive flavor profiles that pair well with summer cookouts and backyard gatherings.

The 2022 Pinotage is a medium-bodied red featuring notes of plum, Bing cherry, blueberry, bacon, and rooibos tea. It pairs beautifully with grilled pork chops, bratwurst, and chicken. This vintage is especially significant, as it will be the final Pinotage produced by Aaronap Cellars due to the discontinuation of imported Pinotage grapes from its longtime supplier.

The 2022 Petite Pearl, crafted from estate-grown grapes at Aaronap's Coastal Vineyard in South Dartmouth, showcases aromas of blackberry, plum, and raspberry with bright acidity, light mocha notes, and soft tannins. The wine complements barbecue pulled pork, braised brisket, and hearty tomato-based pasta dishes.

In addition to these featured wines, Aaronap Cellars will also have limited quantities of its popular Gracie's Red and Carmenere wines available at select markets as part of its "Secret Stash" offerings.

This week also marks Aaronap Cellars' return to the Wayland Summer Farmers Market, expanding its presence at farmers markets across eastern Massachusetts. Customers can sample wines and purchase bottles throughout the week at markets in Wayland, Stoneham, Belmont, Tewksbury, Ashland, Waltham, Hopkinton, and Acton.

Wine enthusiasts are also invited to join the Aaronap Angels Wine Club, which will celebrate its next member release on July 18-19. Members will enjoy an exclusive first tasting of three new wines produced from the Chace Hill Vineyard in the prestigious Nashoba Valley American Viticultural Area (AVA), along with special pricing and local barbecue.

For those seeking a more personal experience, Aaronap Cellars offers private wine tastings every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Guests are invited into the winery's cellar for a guided tasting led by founder and winemaker Noel Powell, offering an inside look at the winemaking process and the stories behind each bottle.

Aaronap Cellars continues its mission of crafting innovative wines that showcase the potential of Massachusetts-grown grapes while introducing wine lovers to unique varietals rarely found in New England.
