Ayer's Industrial Development Financing Authority operates to address the current and future risk of unemployment and lack of business opportunities in Ayer by bringing new businesses or industries to the community, or by helping existing industries significantly expand. The Board stewards a $1M fund allocated by the Select Board, which supports operations and a loan program available to Ayer-based businesses.
