About Us Literacy Volunteers of the Montachusett Area is a nonprofit providing free, one-on-one and small-group English tutoring for adults in our community. We believe literacy changes lives — and you can be part of that change.
Role We’re looking for patient, compassionate volunteers to tutor adult learners in English reading, writing, speaking, or conversation skills. No teaching experience required — just kindness and reliability.
Time Commitment
- An 18 hour tutor training.
- 2 hours tutoring per week, flexible scheduling.
