Reports To:  Operations Foreman or Operations Manager  

Regular Work Schedule:  7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday 

Position Summary: 

Triumph is seeking a Shop Technician to join a highly motivated operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of mobile offices and modular buildings in ready-to-rent condition. This individual will apply cost-effective methods to cleaning, demo, changeovers, retrofitting, and upgrading units. This position will benefit from a collaborative, fast-paced, client-driven environment. 

 

Core Functions and Responsibilities:  

  • Follow plans to revamp field office trailer equipment and code-compliant modular buildings and assist in cleaning and repairs of any size or type.
  • Operate any company vehicle and equipment in a safe, appropriate manner. 
  • Responsible for adhering to company safety policies and procedures. 
  • Responsible for quality control of individual tasks and buildings. 
  • Clean, repair, or replace sliding doors, windows, flooring, sheetrock, roofing, running gear, minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. 
  • Work under the direction of Operations Foreman and/or Operations Manager.   
  • Assist with loading and offloading of any materials.   
  • Identify units to prepare next per the customer work order. 
  • Assist setup team or road service technicians when needed on job sites; always professionally representing the company. 
  • Deliver and install ancillary items (VAPS), i.e., desks, chairs, file cabinets, whiteboards, walls, stairs, and ramps. 
  • Other duties as needed. 
 

Requirement and Qualifications: 

  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment 
  • Dependable and punctual 
  • Respectful and positive attitude 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience in light carpentry and construction trade skills 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Able to lift 50lbs or more 
  • Able to bend, twist, climb ladders, and get into awkward positions while maintaining equipment 
  • Ability to work in a high noise and dust level environment
