This is who we are looking for:

The Quality Engineering group at Haartz is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Manufacturing Quality engineer to join our growing team! New ideas, technologies, and ways of thinking are driving our future!

 

This is what you will be doing:

As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for communicating and travelling to customers. Working on corrective actions and effective implementation, along with activities concerned with application, process capabilities and quality standards.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain customer relations for quality related issues.
  • Responsible for addressing customer issues and corrective actions.
  • Reviews customer chargebacks for accuracy.
  • Develops and implements methods for investigating root cause analysis (8D's) and implementation/verification of long-term corrective action.
  • Performs capability analysis on existing products, which may lead to changes in specs or test frequency.
  • Participates in the internal auditing program.
  • Responsible for placing and dispositioning questionable product in quarantine status.
  • Travel to customers proactively and on demand.

 

This is what you should bring:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical, plastic, or related engineering with 3 to 5 years’ experience. Be available to work flexible schedules and willing to travel.

Experience solving problems and making decisions independently. Ability to analyze data and present findings to teams. Self-motivated, strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to travel to customers.  Bilingual skills are a plus.
