The Town of Lunenburg is seeking qualified applicants for Data Collector.
Job Duties
Under the general supervision of the Principal Assessor, the Data Collector is responsible for administrative and technical work, field inspecting and valuing real property, assisting the Principal Assessor and/or Board of Assessors, and performing related office support functions.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Required real estate appraisal experience and/or associate's degree preferred. License-Real Estate Appraisal License preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with building and methods of construction.
- Two years of work experience in real estate or building construction environment.
- Familiarity with Vision Appraisal and/or understanding of building data on property records cards.
- Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and personal vehicle.

Hours & Pay
This is a Grade 8 Salary Administration Plan, part-time (19 hours/week), non-benefited position; Two weeks of paid vacation time. Salary range $25.23 -$31.02/hour.
