Yoga Nidra~the yogic art of deep relaxation with inner awareness!

Yoga Nidra is a transformative, peaceful, de-stress program to manifest your intentions, align with your heart and connect with your deepest Self. Practice setting a heart-felt intention, or Sankalpa, to connect with and cultivate your deep inner wisdom.

This accessible form of yoga creates:

• a profound level of effortless relaxation, which allows the release of stress and tension to reveal a deep sense of peace, joy and bliss

The deep states of relaxation accessed through Yoga Nidra activate the para-sympathetic nervous system, or relaxation response, to promote an overall sense of well-being. After a Yoga Nidra practice, you may feel deeply refreshed, as though having 3-4 hours of restful, restorative sleep!

This guided meditation will take you on a journey through the the energy layers of the body, utilizing relaxation techniques including body awareness, breathing techniques, and visualization.

Yoga Nidra is practiced laying in the position of Savasana, using props, pillows and blankets as supports for ultimate comfort and ease in the body. Alternate postures are available for individual needs. Wear comfortable clothing, dress in layers and you may choose to use an eye pillow or scarf to cover your eyes.

Yoga Nidra is open to all levels, no experience needed.
