Bit of WWI & WWII at Fort Devens Museum Saturday November 16th
On Saturday November 16th the Fort Devens Museum will host two special events focused on the World Wars. Collector and Living Historian, Paul Martinello, will bring American and French World War I items and equipment for a special display during the day from 10-3. And for a bit of World War II history, come listen to our 1:00 speaker, Marika Barnett. Barnett, a Hungarian Holocaust Survivor, will talk about her personal experiences including 10 months in and out of hiding when she was 10 years old.
The Fort Devens Museum is located on the third floor at 94 Jackson Road, Devens and is wheelchair accessible. The museum’s regular hours are: Tuesdays, Fridays, and the 3rd Saturday of each month, each from 10 AM to 3 PM. This program is free and open to the public, but donations are much appreciated so that we may continue to offer these special presentations.
