RE44R05: Understanding Title and Title Concerns with Michael Powers: Understanding Title and Title Concerns is one of the most relevant and practical of all the CE Classes because it deals with liens encumbrances and other legal matters that may affect the marketability of title and which may delay or defeat the sellers’ ability to close on-time. The class focuses on how real estate sales professional can identify and help to discover and bring to the attention of the closing attorneys potential title issues even before the title search is done, so that those matters may be addressed as quickly as possible thereby increasing the likelihood of a smooth and timely closing. The class is taught from a practical, real world perspective, focusing on real-life examples of title problems and solutions.
According to MA Licensing Regulations, you must be present for the entire two hours to earn credit. Please log into the webinar early to ensure you are able to get in. NEAR recommends all attendees participate in the class on a computer or tablet, not a cell phone, to ensure an uninterrupted signal for the full two hour required to get credit. In order to remain your Massachusetts Real Estate License, you are required to take 12 hours of Continuing Education credits every 2 years. Credit earned for this course from the Northeast Associations of REALTORS® can be applied to Massachusetts credits only.
