The Friends of the Townsend Library will host the lawn party at the Townsend Military Band’s Thursday evening, August 3rd, concert on the Townsend Common. They will be offering hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and fried dough for sale to hungry concertgoers. Soda, water, and a wide variety of home baked goods will also be available.
Children attending the August 3rd concert may pick a lollipop in hopes of winning a prize, play the noodle smash and lawn dart games, and get a temporary tattoo.
The Friends of the Townsend Library sponsor passes to local attractions and special events/presentations open to all residents.
