The Weeklings perform the music of The Beatles, 60's gems and original Beatles-inspired power pop with extraordinary passion and energy!
Fronted by Glen Burtnik, singer, songwriter, guitarist (known as a former member of STYX and for playing Paul McCartney in the original Beatlemania on Broadway), The Weeklings are America’s most unique celebration of the music and muse of The Beatles.
The band performs and records explosive renditions of Beatles classics, uniquely arranged Beatles nuggets such as "Paperback Writer," "Baby You're a Rich Man," “I Am the Walrus," 60’s classic remakes like The Easybeats 1966 garage rock hit “Friday On My Mind” plus brilliant Beatles-inspired power-pop originals, like “Little Elvis," "In the Moment," one of the Top Ten most popular songs in 2018 on Sirius/XM's Little Steven's Underground Garage and their newest, a great new Weeklings original composition, “I Want You Again”.
The Weeklings bring The Beatles to life through their extraordinary musicianship, exceptional vocals and charming stage presence. “They show their audiences what The Beatles were and what they might have been like today.”
The Weeklings are: Glen Burtnik aka "Lefty Weekling" (bass/vocals), Bob Burger aka "Zeek Weekling" (rhythm guitar/vocals), John Merjave aka "Rocky Weekling" (lead guitar/vocals) and Joe Bellia aka “Smokestack Weekling" (drums/vocals).
The band was nominated “best classic band and album” Asbury Music Awards 2015.
