First, Bill and Ally Hotz will give a brief history of maple sap harvesting from the time of the Native Americans to the colonists. Then they will explain why sap runs and when. They will describe collecting, processing, boiling, and bottling. On exhibit will be different types of taps and other tools. The program will conclude with a tasting of the finished product.
