Holiday Critter Making with Treasures from the Trees!
Sunday, November 7 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Williams Barn Conservation Property, Groton, MA
Join NRWA Education Naturalists for a fun afternoon making our favorite local animals out of natural materials collected from the forest and field...just in time for your holiday tree or table! We will go on a collecting hike where we’ll learn about the plants and animals that are interconnected in the forest, fields, and waterways of this property. When we return to the barn, we’ll create critters with our collections and additional provided materials. Activities are appropriate for families with young children ages 2 - 12 years, backpack babies are welcome! Program is free; reservations required as space is limited. For the comfort of all, no dogs are allowed. We will continue to follow specific Covid protocols including families maintaining six foot distances and masks when needed during our time together. To register, please email Registration@NashuaRiverWatershed.org, and provide your first and last name, number of people in your group, ages of any children, and your best phone contact number. This free program is made possible by a grant from the Groton Trust Funds’ Lecture Fund.
