EEOC Overview for Businesses
June 7, 2018 10AM-12PM
North Central Career Center
100 Erdman Way, Leominster, MA (rear of building)
The EEOC is responsible for enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee because of the person's race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetic information. Most employers with at least 15 employees are covered by EEOC laws- most labor unions and employment agencies are also covered.
EEOC also works to prevent discrimination before it occurs through outreach, education and technical assistance programs. Any employer with questions about the laws enforced by EEOC or about compliance with those laws in specific workplace situations should attend this workshop at the North Central Career Center.
To reserve a seat please RSVP, by June 4th, to spercifull@ccncm.com or 978-534-1481 X209
