Our spacious and historic second floor event space transforms into a relaxing (and quiet after store hours!) yoga studio. Instructor Krista Schepanovsky will lead an all-levels vinyasa flow class, perfect for centering your mind and body.
Krista has been practicing yoga for over ten years. She initially came to yoga through triathlon and long-distance running. After hearing again and again that yoga was "so good for you", Krista gave it a try and discovered much more beyond her original expectations. She ended up falling in love with the physical practice and was fascinated by the mental and spiritual aspects, as well as the rich history of yoga. Krista enjoys most of all the amazing fun, feeling like a kid again when you stand on your head or can do a new pose that previously seemed impossible. She believes every day can bring something challenging, but also something new and rewarding.
Krista is a long-time member of the Boston Triathlon Team and has completed many Ironman distance races in the U.S and Canada. She was the first female winner of the Adirondack Ultracycling Cup in 2013 and qualified twice for the Boston Marathon. On a dare, she started running ultras and has competed in many fifty and hundred mile races. A disc injury made Krista revisit yoga more intensively and she believes that yoga is a wonderful way to keep everything moving in a healthy way – both in mind and body. She is enthusiastic to share her practice with her students.
