Author Karen Gonzalez – Beyond Welcome
on January 12, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm
(Leominster, MA) December 10, 2024 –Please join Habitat for Humanity NCM and the First Parish of Bolton for the Third Annual Author Event from 6 to 8 p.m. on January 12th at First Parish in Bolton, 673 Main Street, Bolton, MA.
Author Karen Gonzalez will lead a discussion how many American Christians have good intentions, working hard to welcome immigrants with hospitality and solidarity. But how can we do that in a way that empowers our immigrant neighbors rather than pushing them to the fringes of white-dominant culture and keeping them as outsiders? That's exactly the question Karen González explores in Beyond Welcome. "A top-notch Christian look at immigration, humane and full of heart."--Publishers Weekly. There will be time for questions after the talk. Light appetizers and desserts will be served.
This event is FREE to the public but please email diana@ncmhabitat.org to reserve your spot

The proceeds from the event will support Habitat NCM’s work, including two homes being built in Ayer and Leominster as well at Critical Home Repairs in the 30 towns we serve.
