CALL TO ACTION:
Okay ladies and gents...SATURDAY: JAN 11: I will be at the Hazen Memorial Library shortly after it opens until...whenever we're done (early afternoonish). I'm not 100% sure of the weather forecast, but don't believe we're getting much snow.
ALL ARE WELCOME AND NEEDED!! You don't need to know how to sew, knit or crochet! I will need people to trace the patterns onto fabric and cut for the folks who want to sew. ANYONE can do this! If you sew, please bring your machine, light, pins, thread, etc.
WHAT WE NEED
FABRIC:
-100% Strong Cotton (please wash with either no soap or mild soap) denim, canvas, duck cloth etc for outer pouches
-100% cotton flannel...
Other fabric that is acceptable: cotton knit, bamboo, wool, terry cloth, tight weave linen, fleece.
DO NOT bring: muslin, polyester, synthetic, glitter, plastic or rubber backed.
YARN:
wool, acrylic, cotton, bamboo, synthetic blends. These are only used for nests and outer pouches. They are NEVER used for liners!! All knit/crochet pouches need 3 sewn cotton liners with them.
