Rockland Trust is proud to announce its partnership with Belle of the Ball, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping high school students attend prom by providing free formalwear. Now through April 4, 2026, all Rockland Trust branch locations will serve as collection sites for gently worn prom dresses and gowns.
Belle of the Ball collects, cleans, and distributes prom attire to students who might otherwise miss the opportunity to attend their school’s prom due to financial constraints. All donated gowns are professionally dry cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners before being made available to students.
Since its founding in 2005, Belle of the Ball has collected, cleaned, and distributed more than 76,000 prom gowns. Dresses are provided to qualifying students through an invitation-only Boutique Day in Boston, where students from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island can select a gown at no cost.
Community members are encouraged to support the initiative by donating gently worn prom dresses and formal gowns at any Rockland Trust branch location before the April 4 deadline.
