Now Hiring! Food Logistics and Inventory Lead
The Food Logistics and Inventory Lead oversees the procurement, tracking, storage and distribution of all food and personal care items for Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, leads staff and volunteers in achieving operational objectives, and collaborates with other functional areas to meet the mission of the Pantry.
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum stock of food and personal care items is available for clients from a variety of sources at all times.
- Manage optimum inventory levels for all dietary needs served and methods of distribution offered.
- Provide direction, oversight, training, and support to employees and groups of volunteers working in food operations.
- Work with various vendors and resources to support a smooth and flexible operational system.
- Ensure all food supplied by the pantry meets food safety storage and delivery protocols.
- Develop budget and monitor financial requirements to support ongoing food operations.
Key Qualifications
Associates Degree and/or equivalent relevant experience in leadership, analytics, logistics, inventory management or distribution processes.
- Hourly, non-exempt position
- 25 hours per week
