As a Mental Health Counselor, you’ll be an integral member of a multidisciplinary treatment team working alongside experienced professionals in psychiatry, nursing, social work and therapeutic services. This is a highly interactive role where you’ll work directly with patients and families, provide support during challenging moments and play an important part in each patient’s treatment and recovery.
Mental Health Counselors help maintain a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment on our inpatient units. Responsibilities include patient observation and safety checks, assisting with activities of daily living, helping de-escalate acute situations and providing compassionate, supportive interactions throughout the day.
