Job Full Description
We are currently recruiting for a Shop Mechanic for our client, a heavy equipment company in Fitchburg, MA. This role will be responsible for performing mechanical tasks, including preventative maintenance, parts replacement, troubleshooting, and testing. Looking for someone who wants to grow in the mechanic industry.
Responsibilities:
- Handle physical work that involves lifting and other labor-intensive tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Occasionally travel to job sites for on-site tasks, once adequately trained.
- Previous auto mechanic, machine maintenance and other similar experience preferred
- Proven mechanical experience, preferably in servicing a variety of equipment
- The ability to work well as a team but also self-sufficient, motivated, and safe
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Clean driving record for deliveries when hired on (In company truck)
- Wrenching Experience
Pay is $21-$26/hr DOE
The hours are Monday-Friday 7:30AM-5PM (10 hrs. of OT weekly!) Pay is DOE
