There are two sections to this presentation.
In the first section, a marketing specialist will explain Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Social networking has taken the Internet by storm and is once again changing the face of communications. Nearly 4 out of 5 internet users visit a social networking site each month. But how does this translate into success for your company...whether your goal is more traffic to your website, enhanced awareness of your company and product brands or increased sales? Is social networking entertainment of business? Learn how to integrate social media into your company's marketing and sales program.
In the second section of the program, two business people will explain how they use these techniques on a modest and practical level to help them improve customer relations and increase sales for their businesses.
Speakers:
- Shari Worthington is president of Telesian Technology, Inc. in Worcester. She is an author, international lecturer, and well recognized authority on e-business and internet marketing. Shari works with companies that range in size from small startups to Fortune 500 companies.
- Jill Zelley is owner of Mountainside Market, Country Conveniences and Cafe, Princeton
- Melissa Fetterhoff is the executive director of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce
