This Saturday, January 12th, young people ages 7 to 11 can explore the “Science of Ice and Snow” during the NRWA’s first Science Saturday of 2013. Led by Mary Marro, NRWA’s Environmental Education Director, participants will learn about how snow helps insulate the world of small animals, we’ll do experiments with ice, and build a snow fort! We’ll be engaged in activities indoors and outdoors at the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton. Science Saturday costs $25. Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, please contact Mary Marro, NRWA Environmental Education Director, at (978) 448-0299, or email Mary.
