The Nashoba Valley Chorale’s 2017–2018 season is a beautiful and exciting mixture of drama, reflection, and joy. Join us as we prepare for our January concert of Morten Lauridsen’s transcendently beautiful Lux aeterna and Franz Joseph Haydn’s exciting Missa in tempore belli; both works will be accompanied by members of the Orchestra of Indian Hill.
In April we will present a lively and beautiful program of music for choir and orchestra, including Vaughan Williams’ exuberant In Windsor Forest. We are also excited to welcome Katie McNally, who grew up in Groton playing Scottish and Cape Breton fiddle. Katie will be arranging a piece for us to sing.
We will again team up in May with the Worcester Youth Symphony Orchestra, Jonathan Brennand, conductor—this year we’ll sing the Choral Finale to Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in the renowned Mechanics Hall in Worcester.
— Join us! The Nashoba Valley Chorale welcomes all singers.
We rehearse Monday evenings at the First Baptist Church of Littleton 461 King Street, Littleton, MA next to the Town Common.
