2024 Memorial Day Events:
The Joseph M. Connors American Legion Post 139 of Ayer announces the 2024 Memorial Day Events in Ayer as follows:- May 18, 2024, 8:30am: Placing of flags on Veterans Graves at Woodlawn Cemetery. After completion, proceed to St. Mary’s Cemetery for placing of flags. (Rain Date: May 19, 2024)
- May 25, 2024 Memorial Day Services and Parade:
9:00am: Legion Memorial Service at St. Mary’s Cemetery
10:00am: Parade steps off towards Town Hall (Parade route down Park Street and onto Main Street)
10:30am: Parade stops at the Town Hall for brief Memorial Service.
10:45am: Parade continues to Pirone Park for final Memorial Service.
