AAA Driver Improvement for Mature Operators
A program to help you sharpen your driving skills & get ready for winter driving.
Nashoba Valley Medical Center and AAA are hosting a presentation to help Seniors sharpen their driving skills and get ready for winter driving. Join us to learn how to stay safer on the roadway when AAA presents a 4-hour program on maintaining safe driving skills. Catch up on the new and updated vehicle technology and how it can work for you! This workshop also explores the reasons our driving skills deteriorate as we age and ways we can accommodate or overcome these changes. Practical advice is offered on how individuals can compensate and drive safer for a longer amount of time! Aging is inevitable, but growing older doesn’t have to mean giving up an active lifestyle.
This FREE presentation will take place on Friday, November 6, 2015, from 10:00am to 3:00pm (1 hour lunch break) in the Founders Conference Room at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, 200 Groton Road in Ayer.
This presentation is given by Eleanor Baker of AAA Northeast who has worked for over 20 years in the field of AAA Public Affairs. She is a certified instructor for AAA’s Driver Improvement Program and a Child Passenger Safety Technician. Ms. Baker has been involved with roadway safety throughout her AAA career – from AAA’s Driving School and Dare to Prepare classes for teens as they begin their driver education process to Senior Mobility – helping to keep everyone driving as safe as possible for as long as possible.
