May 25, 2024 Memorial Day Services and Parade:
8:30am: Legion Memorial Service at Woodlawn Cemetery
9:00am: Legion Memorial Service at St. Mary’s Cemetery
10:00am: Parade steps off towards Town Hall (Parade route down Park Street and onto Main Street)
10:30am: Parade stops at the Town Hall for brief Memorial Service.
10:45am: Parade continues to Pirone Park for final Memorial Service.

Townsend
Memorial Day will be observed in Townsend on Sunday, May 26. Members of Townsend VFW Post No. 6538 and its Auxiliary, American Legion Post No. 199 and its Auxiliary, and DAV Chapter 122 will attend the 10:00 a.m. service at the Townsend Congregational Church as a body. Two parades and a band concert will take place in the afternoon.{Read full details here}

Westford
Memorial Day 2024 - Town wide celebration of
Memorial Day will be held on Sunday, May 26th.
Ceremonies will be conducted at Freedom Park @
8:45 AM, Forge Village monument @ 9:15 AM,
Graniteville monument on North Main St @ 9:45 and
then at Nab Lake, Byrne Ave. dam at 10:45. On the
Town Common, the reading of the Honor Rolls will
begin at 10:20 AM.
Culminating the village ceremonies will be a parade starting at noon from
the Roudenbush Community Center to the Town Common.
Veterans who would like to participate should meet at Freedom Park at 8:30
AM on Sunday. All are encouraged to commemorate our US servicemembers
who have died in defense of our country on this holiday weekend. Join us if
you can.
If it rains, we will call it by 6am. The Honor Roll reading and Memorial Day
service will be moved into the old center fire station at 51 Main St. All other
parades and services will be cancelled. To be Notified of rainout please email

Harvard
The Town of Harvard Memorial Day exercises will begin at 10 a.m., Monday, May 27, 2024 to honor those who gave their lives in defense of our country. All veterans are asked to be lined up in front of the Town Hall at 9:45 a.m. Acceptable dress includes uniform or appropriate civilian attire. The parade will proceed from the Town Hall to the Civil War Memorial, and then onto the Center Cemetery where geraniums will be placed at each Veteran’s grave, by children in attendance. The parade will continue to the World War II, Korean, Vietnam and Gulf War Memorial and then move to the World War I Memorial and flagpole for the day’s ceremony. Wreaths will be presented at each memorial and Taps played. Upon completion, the parade will return to the Town Hall where everyone may continue, by car, to the Corporal Skillings Memorial in Still River to allow a wreath to be placed and Taps played. All will reassemble at Bellevue Cemetery for a short parade around the cemetery, placing of a wreath and playing Taps. Children will be invited to assist in placing geraniums at each Veteran’s grave.
All levels of Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Police and Fire Departments, Nashoba Valley Concert Band and all Veterans who wish to walk in the parade, are welcome.

Clinton
The Annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade will take place on Monday, May 27th at 9:00 am. The ceremony will take place in Central Park. The Master of Ceremonies is Michael Dziokonski, Vietnam War Veteran. American Legion, Department Vice Commander, Scott Conner will give the Memorial Day Address.
Following the ceremony the parade will start from the corner of Walnut and Union Streets. The parade will make stops at Hamilton Square (Depot Square), Woodlawn Cemetery and concludes at St. John's Cemetery.
There will be a ceremony at Reservoir Pines Cemetery at 8:00 am including an invocation by Rev. Julio Granados, firing detail by the VFW and TAPS played by the PAV
Littleton
Starts at Donelan's - stops at the Common, Old Cemetery, Fire Station, 495 Overpass, ending at the Westlawn Cemetery.
We begin Memorial Day Weekend with a group of volunteers, including veterans, scout troops and members of the community, who go through the town’s cemeteries and place an American Flag at the grave of each Veteran of every war, or conflict. This will happen this year on Saturday, May 25th starting at 8 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery. We then end the weekend by marching, or riding, in the Town Parade on Monday.
