The SHINE Initiative will host a morning forum to celebrate Children's Mental Health Awareness Day, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Heather Brenhouse from Harvard University/McLeab Hospital, whose research is investigating the link between early life stressors on the brain of young children and depressive symptoms in adolescence and early adulthood.
A discussion will take place with Dr. Brenhouse, and Lynn Hennigan, director of the acclaimed Together For Kids early intervention program of Central MA, and Dr. Beth Greenberg, school based services for Jewish Family Service of Worcester.
Admission is free, but reservations are required.
