Responsibilities for this entry level position involve preparation, installation, and support for monitoring systems for both external customers and internal system 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Travel to project sites to assist with start-up, integration, and validation services

· Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values and financial objectives

· Prepare purchased equipment for installation

· Maintain professional business relationships within existing customer accounts

· Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects

· Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution

· Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues

· Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams

· Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers

· Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues

· Explain use and administration of all features to customers

· Prepare accurate and timely reports

· Prepare and fulfill customer orders

·  Assists sales with training and or demonstrations of hardware and software use Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles

· All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

· AS in technical or science related field of study and 2 years related industry experience; OR BS in technical or science related field of study

· Software configuration experience

· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

· Honesty, integrity and confidentiality

· Customer service or sales support experience

· Excellent technical and business writing skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Experience working in an ISO/GMP environment a plus 

Physical Demands:

· Walking, standing, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing and use of hands is regularly required

· Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling is occasionally required

 

Work Environment:

· Office, lab, and customer sites in a moderate-loud noise level environment

· Frequently exposed to wet or humid environments

· May be exposed to extreme cold and/or outdoor weather conditions occasionally

· May be exposed to high places and/or near moving mechanical parts occasionally

· May be exposed to risk of electrical shock occasionally

· Drug testing

· Inoculations may be required

· Valid driver's license and available for local and long distance travel 50%
