We are a small business in Littleton, MA specializing in products to the animal care industry. Our team is a family-oriented group of high-integrity and passionate professionals who work hard and play hard. We are expanding our salesforce with an Inside Sales/Customer Service Rep to help us maintain and expand our growing customer base.

As our Inside Sales/Customer Service Rep, you will be a key contributor to the mission of our company to provide our exceptional products with top notch service to Veterinarians, Animal Day-Cars, Universities and Consumers. The ideal candidate will LOVE to be on the phone and must have a great upbeat personality on and off the phone. You will learn our line products in a relatively quick manner in order to provide consultation to our customers. You will also be required to go on the road (locally) with the company van as needed.

Primary Responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Call existing accounts to maintain customer relations, tell customers about new products and specials. Plus a follow-up email.
• Call prospective customers to generate interest in Alpha Tech Pet’s products.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product questions, take orders, upsell and ask for reviews.
• Attend local and out of state tradeshows on an as needed basis. Could be 3-4 times per year.
• Always build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Work collectively with sales team members and co-workers.
• Go on road with company van as needed to visit existing customers and visit prospect customers.

Requirements:

• Fun positive attitude at work every day.
• LOVE working on the phone and has a great phone presence.
• Typing skills are a must; (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.…)
• Advertising experience on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram & Pinterest a PLUS!
• Combine phone courtesy and sales ability for optimal sales results.
• Show strong work ethic, a competitive nature, and team-work skills.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Always demonstrate superior communication skills.
• A team player is an essential part of this position.
• Multi tasker.
• Must be PUNCTUAL, neat, organized and pays close attention to details.
