Responsibilities:

The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping the premises of Doctor Franklin Perkins School, buildings and other facilities in clean and orderly condition and participates in and supports our on-call system by performing the following duties:

Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dust furniture and equipment. Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies. Replace light bulbs
Perform daily safety surveys to ensure no hazardous conditions exist.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
One year of experience, preferred
Valid driver’s license

Shift:
Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm
