Community Training Coordinator – Community Engagement & Support
The Community Training Coordinator coordinates training efforts in Worcester County, identifying, selecting, and implementing evidence-based training curricula and programs to improve knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors of community members, parents, youth, and other professionals. The Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Community Engagement and Support (CES) Services. The Coordinator also builds relationships with and works collaboratively with trainers, partners, and funders to develop a coordinated approach to training in North Central Massachusetts. Responsibilities also include providing technical assistance to community partners and trainers to implement training curricula and building the capacity of communities to serve young people.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in human service or related field preferred or three years of project management experience. Experience coordinating and facilitating all aspects of trainings, knowledge of evidence-based practices, partner development, adult education, and group dynamics. Essential skills: facilitation, communication, time management, computer, and organizational.
This is a full time position located in Central Massachusetts and will include community-based travel and implementation. Bilingual/Bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Purpose
The Community Training Coordinator manages and coordinates external training programming for youth, families, professionals, and community members in Worcester County.
Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate the successful implementation of identified goals, objectives, targets, data collection, and timeline for external training program.
- Work collaboratively with current and prospective referral and training partners to assure successful project implementation.
- Provide community outreach and marketing; assist with development of written and online resource materials.
- Manage all logistics of training programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with trainers, training partners, referral partners, and trainees.
- Enter training data into appropriate databases and analyze progress toward outputs and outcomes.
- Manage all scheduling and logistics for a diverse team of trainers, to include securing training space and scheduling training teams.
- Ensure trainers maintain certification in the evidence-based practice and complete required documentation of service delivery and invoicing as required.
- Manages training database and reproduction of reports, maintain tracking of training files (spreadsheets), calendar, roster, evaluations, materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with partners, staff, and trainers to identify needed community trainings.
- Facilitate trainings in evidence-based models, including but not limited to Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid, QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer), SafeTalk, and Botvin LifeSkills.
- Facilitate agency-developed trainings, including but not limited to Substance Abuse Prevention 101, Suicide Prevention 101, Opioid Overdose and Prevention 101, and Mental Health 101.
- Coordinate the design and development of course content for external training programs.
- Facilitate trainings as necessary.
- Procure services of training facilitators and identify external training opportunities.
- Prepare reports for funders as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in in Human Services, Public Health, Social Work, or a closely related field
- 3 years of experience in program management
- Bilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged to apply

Job Location
The Community Training Coordinator will work throughout Central Massachusetts with access to office space in Fitchburg. The position will provide community-based services and supervision. Transportation required. Ability to work remotely on occasion.
