Sanctuary Medicinals in Littleton, MA is looking for one Irrigation/Maintenance Assistant to join our strong team! We are located on 234 Taylor Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working.
Job Summary
The primary job responsibilities of an irrigation/maintenance assistant is to work with the irrigation/maintenance lead to ensure the performance and functionality of all equipment in and related to the water room. This includes, maintaining the ozone/water filtration systems, irrigation controls systems, RO machine, fertigation machines, nutrient stock talks, water tanks, irrigation pumps etc. Secondary responsibilities include sterilization of irrigation line between grows, maintenance of all irrigation lines through cultivation rooms, working closely with other cultivation teams to coordinate. This also includes assisting with any irrigation/drainage upgrades.
This position operates on a rotating full time schedule 7am-5:30pm. Every other weekend is required.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Help with tasks to ensure the performance and functionality of ozone/water filtration systems, irrigation controls systems, RO machine, fertigation machines, nutrient stock talks, water tanks, irrigation pumps
- Assists with the sanitation of all irrigation lines
- Assists upgrade projects and installation of new technologies in cultivation rooms
- Inventory tracking for all nutrients, additives, cultivation equipment etc.
- Expected to be available for off hour calls in event of emergency; will be compensated fairly
Required Skills/Abilities
Attention to detail, follow directions well, problem solving, strong work ethic, and punctual
Experience: 1+ year of landscaping/plumbing or cultivation work
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform physical labor and lift 50 pounds, comfortable working with heights of up to 20+ feet, work in warm/humid environments, work under bright lights and work in dark areas with green supplemental lights, be over the age of 21. Must be able to work in an environment with kief in the air.
